While launching the camera app, it alerts “can’t connect to camera” due to an error or bug. POCO X2 got MIUI 12 update Recently. After Upgrading to MIUI 12, users are facing some bugs in their UI, APP launch, etc. Now, this is the case of a camera app issue. On June 15, 9:30 PM IST, POCO had reacted to this error with a tweet. They said that “0.2% of the POCO users had faced and reported this camera error”. Open the Settings app in your POCO X2.

Search “manage apps”
In the search bar, search “manage apps” and click on ‘manage apps’.
‘Manage apps’ manage all the apps of your system software and application software.
Now Search ‘camera’ in that manage apps and click on ‘camera’. It directs forward you to the camera app settings.
Click on “clear data”
Select “Clear data” this selection shows 2 options
Now Click on “Clear all data”
By selecting clear all data, will asks you permission to clear the data of the camera app.
By clicking on ‘OK’ will resets the camera app.
Reboot your Phone
Press and hold the power button for a while, it directs you to a power menu.
Check if the camera is working.
After clearing your camera and restart, check if the camera is working or not. If not, then follow the hardware method.
